Farewell UFO

I don't leave the house for many reasons but last night was my favorite bands farewell show…last night's UFO's farewell tour hit Cleveland and it was most excellent. opening up with Mother Mary and then going into a Paul Chapman years song with We Belong To The Night, one of my all-time favorite UFO songs. They went through most of the classics and played a long set. The encore was Doctor Doctor and Shoot Shoot as to be excepted. Vinnie Moore was taking the place on lead guitar, not a Michael Schenker by any means, but he held his own.
The opener was Damon Johnson, a former member of Black Star Riders. It was a nice surprise, he was very good and I recommend checking him out.
It’s sad to see UFO go, but I have many fond memories of them. They gave us 50 years of rock…cheers.
