This print is inspired by three things. The dead bird I found in my studio when I moved in, the one I used on the “Bird Song” print, a rubber ducky, and the Detroit river, no dis on Detroit, it’s my second favorite city. I focused in on the pollution that spills into many rivers in our country. The title comes from the boot on top of the oil drum at the bottom of the piece.
