Clock Runs Down is a limited edition silkscreen print by Derek Hess that's 1 of 5 prints that have been brought back as part of his 20th Anniversary Print Collection. The print features a loosely drawn angel hunched over with wings, hands and head hanging down. A a broad stroke of red behind the angel's back was pulled as a second color to emphasize the emotional aspect of the art. 

Derek said, "For the past 20 years, I’ve experimented with different ways of drawing loosely. I like to add brush strokes of red to create a contrast between the edge of the figure and the background."

Handwritten at the bottom by Derek is the title, "Clock Runs Down."
