Das Boot Print
Das Boot is an open edition print by Derek Hess is inspired by a dead bird Derek found in his studio when he moved in. It's the same one he used on the “Bird Song” print. Derek said, "This piece was also inspired by a rubber ducky, and the Detroit river - no dis on Detroit. It's my second favorite city. I focused in on the pollution that spills into many rivers in our country. The title comes from the boot on top of the oil drum at the bottom of the piece."
Printed on 270 gsm, acid free fine art matte paper.
