Against the Tide is a limited edition print by Derek Hess. It's a piece about being alone in a crowd, a crowd of happy faces, some genuine and some fake. Derek said, "The tide of people feels like you are going the wrong direction, unable to relate with them. You are followed around by the depression that is persistent, represented by the rain cloud, drenched in the emotion."
