Black Rose Print, an illustration by Derek Hess, is part of an ongoing series of original artworks and limited edition prints created in honor of each national flower of the month. 

Long considered a universal symbol of rock music and also considered by Derek to be a "Memorial Rose" in honor of those who've served, the black rose has been a favorite subject matter of Derek's since he began drawing concert posters for rock bands back in the early 90s. 

Now the black rose is featured on its own.
