September Buttercup 2026 is the latest release in Derek Hess’s ongoing Flower Of The Month series, a multi-year collection of original flower drawings, with a new limited edition print released on the first of each month.

For September, Derek turns his attention to the buttercup, the flower associated with the zodiac sign Virgo (August 23 – September 22). Traditionally connected with joy, optimism, and warmth, the buttercup reflects the thoughtful, grounded, and quietly determined nature often associated with Virgo.
