Incredibly popular image of mine that has made it to print and apparel. I like the action gesture of this figure. The extended arm is reflected with the extended part of the plant. Both elements of this piece are flowing, alive, and vibrant. Although both the arm and the foliage are going to the sides, your eye is not driven off the page, it’s a flow that keeps the viewer engaged with the whole composition. I think using a black background really helps pop the image.
