The original piece for this print was done shortly after my dog Jose was put down. It’s about dealing with grief that comes from loss. I have the figure in the shape of a heart with the head being heavy being held up by the hand. I got to this feeling from my loss, but you may get there from a loss you have. It’s a universal feeling, we all get here at one time.
