KISS Double Platinum 8-Track
KISS Double Platinum 8-Track is an original artwork created by Derek Hess of a mixed media illustration on the surface of an 8-track tape by the band, KISS. This piece is one of the last works remaining from a 2014 series painted on vintage rock cassettes.
Featuring familiar Hess themes that include a loose, gesture drawing of a silhouette amid a precisely-drawn heart, this piece was made using pen, acrylic, and collage on the cassette's surface.
5.6" x 7.5" x 1.5" in a black shadow box frame.
