Nimmermehr Chicago At Carnegie Hall 8-Track
Nimmermehr Chicago At Carnegie Hall 8-Track is an original artwork created by Derek Hess of a mixed media illustration on the surface of an 8-track tape by Chicago. Nimmermehr means nevermore in German. This piece is one of the last works remaining from a 2014 series painted on vintage rock cassettes.
Featuring familiar Hess themes that include sullen figures with birds or winged angels hovering above, this piece was made using pen, acrylic, and collage on the cassette's surface.
5.6" x 7.5" x 1.5" in a black shadow box frame.
