I created this piece when I was experimenting with torn images. Captain America is my favorite superhero...I have 5 Captain America tattoos. I cut out a drawing of Captain America from an early 70’s comic book, facing upwards to the descending angel. The angel piece is one of the torn type pieces I was working with, I feel it made it more intense. I then cut out shards of the comic book-like spears raining down on the cap, along with the angel...the angel of death, but Cap isn’t dead yet.
